Matt Mercier, President and Founder of Acapella Technologies, is on the Advisory Board for the Children’s Scholarship Fund of New Hampshire, amongst many other charities he’s involved in. In our most recent charitable donation, we helped fund scholarships for underprivileged students in the area.
Our team is passionate about helping students achieve their dreams, and in an effort to do that, we know better education is vital. By the time they reach fourth grade, 80% of low-income students throughout the nation aren’t proficient in reading. When scholarships are available, we help them get the education they deserve.
About Children’s Scholarship Fund
Children’s Scholarship Fund is a national organization with a network of partner programs. They each provide scholarships to help parents choose fantastic schools for their children that would otherwise be out of their reach.
Since 1998 when Children’s Scholarship Fund started, they’ve awarded more than $741 million in scholarships to 166,000 low-income families. Since 2013 alone, 525 students have used education tax credit scholarships worth $1,098,239.
During the 2017-18 tax year, 260 students throughout the area will be using education tax credit scholarships. Acapella Technologies is proud to help those students attend schools that will truly benefit their futures.
